Module 2: Model Surgeries and live patient implant surgery
The specifics of the patient's case will be covered in great detail by the doctor, including the patient's CT scan, surgical steps, surgical guide, and drilling protocol for guided surgery.
The doctor will review the setup of the operatory's instrumentation and the recommended sterilization protocol (and optionally with their team). Doctors will practice on the casts of their patients before the actual surgery, and a video review of the guided surgery steps will be analyzed.
Under the supervision of CAAD specialists, doctors will be teamed up to perform live surgery on their patient while also assisting with another patient's surgery.
Participants will learn how to use pharmacology and corrective procedures to manage post-operative complications.
Each doctor will be given a review of post-operative instructions as well as a template of these instructions so that the patient is ready for restoration in Module III.
