Our mission is to provide the best advanced-level education experience possible in the form of brief specialized residency programs designed to boost the clinical competence and self-assurance of practising dentists.
The CAAD was founded by Dr. Jeffrey Ceyhan, prosthodontist and Dr. Graham Cobb, Oral and maxillofacial Surgeon with the vision to create a learning facility where faculty could serve as stewards of our industry and impart cutting-edge dental knowledge in a welcoming environment. The goal is to provide students with a learning environment comparable to that of graduate specialist residents.
Where can I learn more about prosthodontics without going to graduate school for three years?
Dr. Jeffrey Ceyhan is frequently asked this question while mentoring at study groups or lecturing at the University of Washington. Dr. Graham Cobb, a professor at the University of Western Ontario, was also aware of the disparities in implant education at dental schools and the need for improved dentist training. Drs. Ceyhan and Cobb’s vision was to create a learning facility where faculty could serve as stewards of our industry and impart cutting-edge dental knowledge in a welcoming environment. The goal is to provide students with a learning environment comparable to that of graduate specialist residents.
This led to the founding of the Canadian Academy of Advanced Dentistry, whose mission is to provide the best advanced-level education experience possible in the form of brief specialized residency programs designed to boost the clinical competence and self-assurance of practising dentists. Our diverse faculty members are all acknowledged authorities in their fields and are committed to educating their dental peers through the creative use of lectures, videos, hands-on activities, and actual patient care.

Do you need a dental implant and crown, but you’re not sure you can afford the $3,000–$7,000 price tag?
Are you unsure if getting a dental implant is the right choice for you, or do you want a dental specialist to supervise every stage of your treatment?
Joining our unique program will allow you to have a dental crown and implant placed under the expert supervision of our board-certified oral surgeons and prosthodontists. We at the CAAD encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. You can find out if you fit the requirements to become a teaching patient for as little as $500. This will cover the cost of the necessary diagnostic data, which includes a CBCT, specialist exam, and digital intra-oral scan. If you are eligible, we will let you know when your surgery is scheduled and who the dentist is who will be doing the implant procedure. There won’t be any additional fees for you.
